FSC Mix

FSC Mix

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit organization that certifies forests and forest products to ensure responsible management. Founded in 1993, FSC promotes environmental conservation, social responsibility, and economic viability in forest management. Products bearing the FSC label—such as wood, paper, and packaging—are sourced from forests that meet rigorous sustainability standards, supporting biodiversity, protecting workers’ rights, and ensuring ethical supply chains. The label is globally recognized for promoting sustainable forestry.

Products that bear the label “FSC Mix” are made using a mixture of materials from FSC-certified forests, recycled materials, and/or FSC controlled wood. While controlled wood is not from FSC certified forests, it mitigates the risk of the material originating from unacceptable sources.
